Kincaid Service Company -- a supporting sponsor of the Times-Gazette / Relish Cooking Show and Expo -- plans to show just what their appliances are capable of at the Oct. 23 demonstration.

Kincaid's will be providing and installing a Frigidaire Professional Series kitchen for Relish chef Steve Petusevsky to use during the show. This cutting-edge kitchen will include a refrigerator, high-tech induction cooking top, and wall convection oven.

Much to show

"We're excited about sponsoring with the show," said Mark Kincaid. "It was a huge success three years ago. Everyone had a good time, and we enjoyed talking with all of the people that came by our booth."

And they'll have plenty to talk about at the booth with all of the new products they'll be displaying and prizes that they'll be giving away.

The new induction cooking tops by Frigidaire sound like something out of science fiction. They employ a copper coil that creates a magnetic field that heats pots and pans directly without creating heat on the stove top. This provides for a more energy-efficient transfer of energy than that of a traditional electric top, and a more responsive heat control than even gas.

Many goodies

As far as the goodies go, Kincaid's will give away a Companion model Holland Grill as a door prize. They'll also be performing demonstrations with the grill and giving out food samples.

Stop by the store location at the corner of Madison and Deery Streets now through 3 p.m. Thursday to see the new merchandise and enter an in-store drawing for tickets to the Oct. 23 Times-Gazette / Relish Cooking Show and Expo.
