The staff and students of East Side Elementary School are pulling for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Nashville. Felix and Mackenzie Aguilar donated two grocery bags of pop tabs.
East Side Elementary is collecting aluminum tabs from soda and soup cans to help generate needed funds to support Middle Tennessee's "home away from home" for families of seriously ill or injured children receiving treatment at Nashville area hospitals.
The Pop Tab Recycling Campaign began about 15 years ago and has generated hundreds of thousands of dollars for Ronald McDonald House Charities across the country.
The students and staff at East Side credit Bill Crawford for donating the pop tab collection container for the school's use.
