Craftspeople, artisans, antique purveyors, gourmet food sellers and vendors of all type descend upon this quaint, little middle Tennessee town the third weekend of October each year to offer their wares and crafts at the Bell Buckle Downtown Show.
Martin will show how he creates his hand-crafted knives, primitive tools and frontier implements, while explaining the significance of each of item, how they were used and how blacksmithing turns raw steel into highly desirable works of art.
Live music from "up on the mountain" will be provided by artists from the Jim Oliver Smokehouse Review in Monteagle, featuring the rocky edgy country music of Jason Link, the amazing harmonies and Americana music of Tawny River, and the rock, soul and R&B of Travis Bowlin on Saturday. Bell Buckle native country artist Kyle Kraft and his band will perform on Sunday.
The fun goes from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21. The town urges locals to come out and enjoy the great live music, award-winning foods, live artist demonstrations and vendors from across the country at the 21st Annual Bell Buckle Downtown Show.Anthony Martin of Red Tail Forge Works will demonstrate how he creates his handcrafted knives, primitive tools and frontier implements.
