Patriots dominate Rockets

It was total domination as Liberty's Patriots cruised to a 58-22 blowout win over Forrest Middle School on Monday night.

Liberty's offense clicked the entire game while the Patriot defense only allowed six points in the second half.

Mike Sorcia scored a game-high 16 points, all in the first half, while Chris Houston added a dozen and Austin Seibers and Luke Davidson each added six tallies apiece for the winners.

Jacob Jones netted nine points to pace the Rockets.

Liberty led 12-7 at the close of the first quarter, 31-16 at halftime and 48-18 after three periods.

Liberty hosts county rival Cascade on Thursday following the girls' game at 6 p.m.
