A woman arrested Oct. 31 for allegedly causing a disturbance at a North Main Street store has told police a fuse was stolen from her car while she was taken to jail.
The woman said she "likes to use her horn to alert other drivers and/or animals in the roadway" and discovered it wouldn't work Wednesday. She found an empty socket where the fuse had been, police were told.
The following were arrested since Wednesday by the Bedford County Sheriff's Department, Shelbyville Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol or 17th Judicial District Drug Task Force. They are only charged; guilt or innocence will be determined by the courts.
* Kayla Brooke Beck, 22, Old Columbia Road; failure to appear; released, $2,500 bond
* Beverly Alice Eley, 44, Belmont Avenue; public intoxication; released, $500 bond
* Travis Scott Spivey, 43, Dow Drive; sexual battery by authority figure; released, $25,000 bond
