Cole, England united in marriage

Janice Elizabeth Cole and Christopher Ryan England were united in marriage on Sept. 29, 2012 at Benton Chapel in Nashville in a double ring ceremony with many guests in attendance.

The bride is the daughter of Janice Jordan Cole of Shelbyville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Cole of Shelbyville, and the late Imogene Snoddy Jordan and the late Dorman Jordan.

The groom is the son of Drs. Gary and Roberta England of Paducah, Ky. He is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Hans Conrad of Cary, N.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lurad England.

The bride was escorted by her mother, Janice Cole. She wore an ivory satin full length strapless gown with gentle rouching that continued to a stunning Swarovski crystal and gold embroidery detailed empire waistline. The slim A-line skirt led to an intricate button and lace detailed train and scalloped lace hemline.

The veil, made of beaded delicate ivory tulle, was handmade especially for the bride by Becky McClenney.

The bride carried a bouquet of ivory hydrangeas, Picasso calla lilies, and champagne roses.

The bride was attended by friend and matron of honor Katherine Foutch Layman of Knoxville, Tenn. Bridesmaids were Shauna Ales Jennings of Murfreesboro, friend of the bride; Lauren Wright Garland of Shelbyville, friend of the bride; Jessica Campbell England of Fort Thomas, Ky., sister-in-law of the bride; Marina Nicolaidis Seroussi of New York, N.Y., friend of the bride; Kristin Best Heath of Atlanta, Ga., friend of the bride; Shelby Langford of Shelbyville, the bride's niece; and junior bridesmaid Sydney Langford, of Shelbyville, niece of the bride.

The flower girls were Kennedy and Maddy Cole of Shelbyville, nieces of the bride; and Maria and Elena King of Nashville, the bride's goddaughters.

The groom was attended by his brother and best man Eric England of Fort Thomas, Ky. His groomsmen were: friend Rhys Marsh of New York, N.Y.; friend Matthew Mazzeo of Los Angeles, Calif.; friend Elliot Tarloff of New York, N.Y.; friend Andrew Holt of New York, N.Y.; friend Adam Farren of San Francisco, Calif.; friend Jeril Philip of New York, N.Y.; and junior groomsman, Daniel Langford of Shelbyville, nephew of the bride.

The ushers were David Langford of Shelbyville, brother of the bride; and Ryan Cole of Shelbyville, brother of the bride.

Readers were Michael Blumberg of New York, N.Y., friend of the groom; Katie Beasley of Franklin, Tenn., friend of the bride; and Melissa Murphy of Huntington Beach, Calif., cousin of the groom.

The couple hosted a reception at the University Club of Nashville.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents the night before the wedding at Sunset Grill in Nashville.

The couple honeymooned in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and they reside in Manhattan, N.Y.
