But early on, it was all Community as the Viqueens took a commanding early lead.
MTCS answered and trimmed the Viqueen lead to two points after one quarter of play.
The visitors took the lead for good in the second quarter when the Viqueens were struck with a scoring drought that lasted well into the second half.
Community was only able to muster up six points between the second and third quarters while the Lady Cougars were able to catapult in front with 24 more.
The Viqueens answered with 10 in the fourth but it was too little too late. MTCS added eight more and clinched the 41-27 win.
Community found the open shot all night, but couldn't quite get them to fall.
Sydney Segroves led the Purple and Gold with a team-high 10 points. Teammate Kizzey Lane added five more for the home team.
MTCS also got a big boost with its ranged attack. The Lady Cougs hit four treys, with two coming from Abby Buckner and a pair from Sarah Mathis.
The Viqueens will be back on the court on Monday when the Liberty Lady Patriots come to town for the final home game of the season.
