Harris outlasts White Co. in OT

After a 37-37 tie at the end of regulation, Harris Middle School's Golden Eaglettes outscored visiting White County 11-3 in overtime to remain undefeated on the season in a key Central Tennessee Conference matchup on Monday night.

Guard Romny Felts led the way with a game-high 15 points, including seven in the fourth quarter along with four in overtime.

Jenna Holt pitched in nine tallies, Kenzie Hobbs collected eight while Keely Smith and Emma Haynes added five point apiece for the winners.

Brooke Stoglin paced White County with 11 with Macey Cash adding nine.

White County led 10-7 at the end of the first quarter, 21-15 at halftime and 32-20 going into the fourth quarter where the Eaglettes outscored their opponent 17-5 to send the game into overtime.

The Eaglettes (4-0, 4-0 CTC) cashed in on 18-of 28 free throws.

Harris entertains Blackman this afternoon a 4.
