WARTRACE -- It took the Cascade Middle Champions just over 2:30 to get going against the Westwood Rockets on Monday night.

Once the offense finally got rolling, Westwood could do little to slow down the various offensive threats Cascade brought to the table.

Easy night

The Champs spread the attack and cruised to the 48-25 win on Monday.

Nearly every player on the Cascade roster added points to the Champs' winning efforts.

Seth Gardner led the way with 17, most of which came off turnovers in transition.

Hayden Edmondson added nine for the Champs while Will Carter and Lane Stacey added five apiece.

Brief threat

Westwood made a run in the third, but just couldn't orchestrate any other offense to give the Champs a run.

While Cascade managed to score at will from just about anywhere on the floor, the Champs shot 50 percent as a team from the free throw line.

Cascade will look to close the regular season with a win on Thursday at Forrest Middle.
