Late surge boosts HMS girls

Harris Middle School's Eaglettes claimed a important 36-33 win on the road at Warren County in a Central Tennessee Conference matchup on Thursday night.

The Eaglettes (5-1, 5-0 CTC) led 9-8 at the end of the first quarter, trailed 14-13 at halftime and took a 27-21 lead into the fourth quarter.

Romny Felts led the winners with a dozen points while Erin Thompson added nine and Keely Smith six.

Madison Mason led Warren County with 13.

Harris travels to Tullahoma West on Monday at 6.
