It was a back and forth battle between both squads in the first half, but a 10-point first quarter was enough to send Liberty to the half with a two-point advantage.
While Liberty was in control early, the second half was all Eagleville. The Lady Eagles outscored Liberty 24-10 in the final two quarters of play to recapture the lead and close the regular season with a 36-24 win.
The Lady Pats got a big boost early with a 10-point first quarter, and finished the first half up by a bucket, however it was the solid second half that determined the outcome of Thursday's showdown.
Sydney Ely led the Lady Pats with 10 points, but struggled to get much help with points.
Eagleville on the other hand saw Ryleigh Cobb hit a game-high 12 points, with help from Tori Laidig and Mallory Mosier, who scored nine and six points, respectively.
Liberty had several scoring opportunities, but just couldn't get the shots to fall in the second half.
Eagleville, on the other hand, put seven players into the scoring column, and finished the game strong to secure the win.
Both squads will partake in the world tournament next week in Chapel Hill with the start times to be released early next week.
