A young Shelbyville man who survived melanoma several years ago died in a traffic accident early Thursday in Nashville.
Taylor Garretson, 18, lost control of his pickup truck about 3:05 a.m. while rounding a curve on Saundersville Road near General Kershaw Drive, Metro police told Nashville television stations. The truck slid off the road, struck a tree, rolled over and caught fire.
