Feet struggle as DCA rolls

Tuesday, December 4, 2012

It was another tough outing for the Webb Feet on Monday as they were dealt a tough 75-29 defeat at the hands of DCA.

From the early goings, nothing went positively for Webb. The visitor outscored the Feet 20-6 in the first quarter, and added 21 more in the second frame for a 41-11 advantage at the half.

Webb composed itself and added 10 more in the third, but struggled to mobilize its offense against a bigger DCA team.

Rough start

"We kind of got down early. They were definitely a better team tonight. They were stronger and good defensively, we just didn't attack," said Webb coach Jeff Mitchell.

Chase Hullett led Webb with seven points while teammate Branson Popp added six.

The Feet will be back on their home court on Friday as they welcome Mt. Juliet Christian to Bell Buckle.
