Gardner started with the hot hand, including a pair of treys, and was supported by strong defense by his fellow Champions to control the game and not allow the visitors to mount any real threat in the contest.
Terrence Swan busted a couple of 3-pointers and Hayden Edmondson contributed five points in the second frame as the Champions continued to dominate the boards and harass the Raiders all over the floor to cash in turnovers on the other end to open a 30-12 cushion at the intermission.
Gardner and Edmondson combined for five points apiece in the third period with a 3-pointer each and Hunter Calvert converted a basket to open a 42-19 advantage to begin the final quarter.
The Champions emptied the bench in the fourth period but continued to pull away from the outmanned Raiders to account for the final score.
Gardner led all scorers with 19 points backed up by Edmondson with 14. Swan had a good night with eight points as well.
Austin Holdmeyer led the Raider effort with 10 points.
