Tullahoma firm wins large NASA contract

A Tullahoma firm has been awarded a large NASA contract, it has been announced.

Micro Craft, Inc. which is based in Tullahoma, was one of two firms to be awarded a contract to provide design and fabrication of aerospace model systems and developmental test hardware to support spaceflight, aeronautics, flight and ground-based tests conducted at the Langley Research Center in Virginia, and at other NASA centers.

Microcraft and Advanced Technologies, Inc., based in Newport News, Va., will provide support for the Reliance Consolidated Models IV contracts.

The contracts were awarded as indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity and multiple-award contracts, and the contract performance period is five years and cumulatively cannot exceed a total value of $14 million.
