Members of the Cascade High School football team were recently honored for their efforts in the 2012 season. Matthew Combs, Jake Thomas, Nolan Barnes, Dakota Vaught, and Jesse Barnes earned All-District nods. In addition to the six, sophomore running back Creed Rose was named the league's Offensive Player of the Year. Rose was also the first player in Cascade history to rush for 2,000 yards in a single season. Cascade also had several players earn honorable mention as well. Senior Cody Smith along with sophomores Dylan Vaught, Aaron Parker and Allen Craig each earned honorable mention for their efforts in 2012.
