The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Savage of Shelbyville and Mr. and Mrs. Holman Sorrells of Unionville. The groom is the grandson of the late Paul Rogers, Mrs. Inez Rogers of Shelbyville, and Ms. Louise Rogers of Winchester.
The wedding ceremony was held Oct. 27 at Edgemont Baptist Church in Shelbyville and was conducted by Rev. Rob McKamey and Rev. Jeff Faulk.
Escorted by her father David Sorrells, the bride wore an ivory Vera Wang strapless organza fit-and-flare gown with a draped bodice and hand-cut bias flange skirt accompanied by a horsehair sash with crystal embellishment. She wore an ivory cathedral-length veil with finished edge, and carried a fresh, hand-tied bouquet of ivory ranunculus and baby's breath wrapped with ivory satin ribbon and pearl pins.
The bride was attended by her matron of honor Kristin Anderton of Nashville, friend of the bride; and Katie Hallum of Virginia Beach, Va.; friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were: Kerri Beth Cookston of Carthage, friend of the bride; Lauren Eubanks of Nashville, friend of the bride; Alice Fothergill of Nashville, friend of the bride; Kristen Hampton of Murfreesboro, friend of the bride; and Meredith Meyer of Nashville, friend of the bride.
Suzanna Crews of Shelbyville, daughter of Brian and Amanda Crews, friend of the bride and groom, was the flower girl.
Mike Rogers of Shelbyville, father of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were: Brett Fisher of Shelbyville, friend of the groom; Brad Larson of Dallas, friend of the groom; Jake Huffer of Knoxville, cousin of the groom; Jerry Martin of Shelbyville, brother-in-law of the groom; Josh Phillips of Shelbyville, friend of the groom; and Tristan Rogers of Shelbyville, brother of the groom.
Seth Sharp of Shelbyville, son of Michael and Dolly Sharp, cousin of bride, served as ringbearer.
A reception, hosted by the parents of the bride, was held at Blue Ribbon Circle.
Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner, hosted by the parents of the groom, was held at Edgemont Baptist Church.
The couple took a special wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, and will make their home in Murfreesboro.
