Lori Jean Lovvorn

Ms. Lori Jean Lovvorn, age 35, of Shelbyville passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident.

She was a native of Bedford County and was employed by Pillsbury of Murfreesboro and I Love Donuts in Shelbyville. Ms. Lovvorn loved music and was a talented singer.

She is survived by her mother, Rebecca King of Shelbyville, and her father, Steve Allen Lovvorn Sr. and his wife Lesa of Hillsboro.

She is survived by two brothers, Steve Allen Lovvorn Jr. of Hillsboro and Wayne Lovvorn of Bardstown, Kentucky. She is also survived by three sisters, Angela and Tisha Lovvorn, both of Shelbyville, and Misty Marie Bryan of Hillsboro.

Ms. Lovvorn is survived by her maternal grandmother, Mattie Mae Brewer of Normandy, and her paternal grandmother, Lathrews Lovvorn of Shelbyville.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, James Thompson, and her paternal grandfather, Herman Lovvorn.

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Gowen-Smith Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Gowen-Smith with Bro. Johnny Campbell officiating.

Burial will follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.
