In December, the Cascade FFA Chapter visited Argie Cooper Public Library to donate a book. The chapter has been participating in the Tennessee FFA P.L.O.W. (Passing Literacy OnWard) program for the past three years. The chapter has won awards at the state level for this program and this year at state convention members hope to receive the platinum award, the highest available for the program.

The chapter has been working hard all year to get this award, including visits to Cascade Elementary School to read to the School Age Care Program or twice a week. The chapter has also donated several books to the Cascade Library.
