"It's great to make it to the championship and that's a goal but a bigger goal is to win it," Eaglette coach Misty Thompson said.
"This was a big win and I'm really pleased with the way we played, especially with our defensive effort in the second half."
The game remained close throughout the first half with Harris (14-3) holding a slim 10-8 advantage at the end first quarter and a 19-14 advantage at close of the first half.
It was the third quarter when the Eaglettes made their move, outscoring their opponent 14-7 to hold a 33-21 advantage going into the fourth quarter.
"We just came out after halftime and did a much better job on both ends of the court," Thompson said.
Seventh-grader Jenna Holt led the Eaglettes with 13 points while Romny Felts added eight and Keely Smith six.
Savannah Quick led Coffee County with a dozen tallies while Kaylee Skipper netted six.
Harris faces Friday night's White County/Franklin County South winner in the championship on Saturday at 5 p.m. at Coffee County Middle School.
