Harris boys fall in CTC semis

Harris Middle School dropped a 51-45 decision to Warren County in the semifinals of the Central Tennessee Conference Tournament on Friday night at Coffee County Middle School.

After leading 17-15 at the end of the first quarter, Harris was outscored 18-6 in the second stanza and trailed 33-23 at halftime.

The Eagles cut the lead to 40-34 after three periods and cut the lead to two late in the game but never could regain the lead.

Krojhn Calbert scored 21 points for the winners while A.D Majors netted 11 and Isaac Golden 10.

Jamal Harden paced the Eagles with 15 with Camari Cannon adding 13 while Michael Hayworth contributed a dozen.

Harris plays at home on Monday in the TMSAA Area/Sectional Tournament.
