The Eaglette defense held Tullahoma to only five pints in the first half and nine in the second, including only two points in each of the second and fourth quarters.
Shelbyville's defense held Tullahoma scoreless the final 5:30 of the game.
"I just thought defensively we just had a heck of a game tonight. Even our reserves didn't give up a point when they went in with three minutes left to play," Central coach Kevin Thomas said.
"Our girls came out excited and with a lot of energy and we were able to keep the pace of the game at where we needed to keep it and that was really important to us."
The Eaglettes (11-13, 5-3 8-AAA) posted leads of 9-3 at the end of the first quarter, 20-5 at halftime and 32-12 going into the fourth quarter.
Sophomore To'Nesha Allison outscored Tullahoma with a game-high 15 points, the only player in the game to score in double figures.
Tullahoma only shot 26 percent from the field with Deja Morris leading the way with five tallies.
Shelbyville out-rebounded the Lady Wildcats 25-13, including 11 off the offensive glass.
"We always talk about playing defense for 32 minutes and we did that in this game," Thomas said. "This was a big district win on the road for us and we have another one on Tuesday night.
