Bond was set at $205,000 for a Bedford County man charged with breaking into a home near Flat Creek on Sunday afternoon.
Shawn Lewis Watson, 18, was arrested by Bedford County deputies at a home south of Shelbyville.
"He is accused of burglarizing a home and taking a rifle and two shotguns," Deputy Lindsey Puckett said.
A juvenile was accompanying him, investigators said.
Residents of the home, which is in an isolated area on a dead-end road, passed a truck occupied by Watson while returning home, then discovered the guns were missing.
A tan Chevrolet pickup with loud mufflers was described to deputies, who found the truck at a home several miles away.
Watson was charged with aggravated burglary, theft of property over $1,000 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The high bond is because Watson may be considered a "flight risk," Puckett said.
Watson has no fixed residence and has been out on bond on two previous burglary charges, according to the deputy.
