Grateful thanks

Dear Editor,

I am writing to express my family's deep gratitude to Sheriff Randall Boyce, the Bedford County Sheriff's Department, and the many relatives, neighbors, and friends for all they did during the three day search for my son in Bell Buckle last week.

Their immediate response to our call, their expertise, their persistence, and their willingness to bring so many resources to bear on the search were truly remarkable. It was such a comfort during the whole ordeal to know that everything that could be done was being done. Everyone was extremely kind and compassionate at a very sad and anxious time for us.

We will forever be grateful to the many people who gave their time, love, and support for our family.

Emily Messick Cunningham
