Mr. James Thomas "Jimmy" Brown, Jr., age 53, of Shelbyville passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013.
Joint funeral services with his father will be 2 PM Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Eastside Church of Christ. Frank Butler and Keith Camp will officiate, with burial to follow in Bomar Cemetery in the Raus Community.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday.
He was born June 19, 1959, in Shelbyville, to James Thomas "Tommy" and Rosalee Lynn Brown, Sr. He was a sales representative for Guthrie Machine Shop and a member of Eastside Church of Christ. Jimmy was a friend to everybody, loved everybody, and was a devoted uncle to his niece and nephews, and great niece.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ruby and Jack Brown and Charlie and Frances Lynn.
Survivors include his mother, Rosalee Brown, of Shelbyville; a sister, Betty Ann Gill, of Christiana and a brother, Chuck Brown, of Shelbyville; a niece, Lauren Brown; nephews, Evan Brown, Dustin Gill, and Casey Gill; a great niece, Kamryn Gill; an aunt, Nellie Mae Schomaker, of Shelbyville, and an uncle, Donny Brown, and his wife Bonnie, of Oklahoma.
