Letter to the Editor, Sept. 15
Library will always be the place to go
The article announcing my retirement was excellent. My thanks to John Carney and to the Times Gazette for covering library events and news from the day I started, June 15, 1978, to now. We have scrapbooks full of articles, all clipped from the same source, the Times Gazette.
I am retiring, but the library is about to enter a new era. I could not be more pleased to see an exciting future developing. I hope the community will get involved as this new building goes up. There are many ways each of us can become involved, and make donations for naming opportunities along the way.
I feel good about the role the library plays in our small town. Technology will change some things, but the library will still be the place to go.
