The Omni Rehab Center of Shelbyville has welcomed Miranda Law Byford, a doctor of physical therapy, to its staff.

Miranda is not a new face at Omni -- because, for the past 10 years, she has worked there off and on, starting in high school, and working on weekends there throughout her college education.

She graduated from Belmont University with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Health Promotion in 2010, continuing at the school to attend the phyiscal therapy program -- receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in August 2013.

Miranda lives in Shelbyville with her husband Chris Byford, and is the daughter of Danny and Jan Law.

Omni Center provides one on one individual evaluations and treatments, helping patients that have undergone joint replacements, surgury or suffered from a stroke or accident.

They have three licenced physical therapists on site: Miranda, Esther McConkey, and Mary Shavers -- plus athletic trainer Janeane Taylor.
