Lady Feet hot in cold

The Webb School girls lacrosse team overcame frigid conditions on Wednesday afternoon and coasted off a hot start to a 15-10 win over visiting Father Ryan.

Webb took a commanding 10-2 lead by the half.

With an eight-goal lead at the half, Father Ryan battled back, but couldn't overcome a strong effort by the Lady Feet offense.

Webb held on to win 15-10.

Ashley Wren led Web with eight goals, while Caroline Tuma added four.

Stephanie Fenner added a pair while Katharine McMahan scored in her varsity debut.

Sydney Fee and Wren won a total of 11 draws while stopper Josie Reyes had eight saves in goal.

Webb will be back in action this afternoon with another home game against USN at 4 p.m.
