Zak Clanton, age 17, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Pastor Todd Peoples will officiate, with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors 4-8 PM Tuesday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.
Zak was born December 19, 1996, in Shelbyville, to Steve Clifford and Valerie King Clanton. He was a student and held membership in First Baptist Church. Zak loved to ride horses, work on cars, and anything to be done outdoors.
Survivors include his parents, Steve and Valerie Clanton, and two brothers, William Mason Clanton and Collin Clifford Clanton, all of Shelbyville; grandparents, Dorothy "Dot" King Parker, and her husband Marvin and Mary Jo "Polly" Clanton, all of Shelbyville, and Kenneth Henry, and his wife Brenda, of Franklin; an uncle, Robert E. 'Bobby" Clanton, and his wife Shonda, of Manchester, and an aunt, Beth Griggs, of Shelbyville.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
