After falling to Cascade earlier this week, the Community Viking golf team rebounded with a solid effort on Thursday evening at River Bend Country Club against Eagleville in a dual-team match.

Though Community placed four players into the 40's, the Eagles held strong and skimmed past the Purple and Gold 231-237.

For the second match in a row, Spencer Smith carded the team-low for Community, besting his Tuesday score by four strokes for a 42.

Community also saw Jake Garrette, Zack Taylor and Brayden Stephenson place in the 40's as well, with Garrette finishing with a 46.

Taylor and Stephenson followed with a 47 and a 48.

Stetson Moses rounded out the scores for the Vikings with a 54.

Community will be back on the links on Monday in a tri-match against Cascade and Moore County at 3:30 p.m.
