Letter to the Editor: Treated well at Heritage

(Editor's Note: The Times-Gazette generally does not publish letters to the editor praising or criticizing businesses because there's normally no way to determine the legitimacy of these types of letters. However, an exception to that general rule is being made as a result of the editor's personal knowledge about the sender's recent experience.)

Dear editor:

I recently spent four days in Heritage Medical Center which started with a trip to the emergency room.

Let me say that my experience was nothing like all the negative comments that float around our community.

From the time my family got me there on Tuesday until I left on Friday I couldn't have asked for better care.

Everyone I came in contact with was very professional and caring. I was treated as if I was the only patient they had. From nurses, lab technicians, doctors, cafeteria workers and housekeeping...everyone was all great. And for that I want to say thank you.

So, before you listen to all the horror stories about our community hospital give them a chance instead of going somewhere else.
