Cassie Davis, Dawson Hasty and Wes Watson were honored.

Former Rotary International president James L. Bomar Jr. was his home club's first Paul Harris Fellow. Since then, almost 300 Rotarians and non-Rotarians with connections to Bedford County have received this honor. At the Rotary International Assembly in 1979, then-president Bomar challenged each Rotary Club to make one non-Rotarian a Paul Harris Fellow each year.

The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, according to Rotary's website.
