Eagles struggle against Wilson Central

Shelbyville Central's Golden Eagles are still in search of their first win of the season after a tough 58-46 loss to Wilson Central in the Lebanon Thanksgiving Classic on Friday.

After leading 14-6 in the first quarter, the Eagles (0-4) were outscored 25-12 in the second stanza and trailed 31-26 at halftime.

Wilson Central continued to roll in the second half, outscoring the Eagles by 10 points in the third quarter to take a 49-34 advantage after three periods.

David Parsons led Shelbyville Central with 16 points, including three 3-pointers.

Roger Pryor netted a dozen with Jamal Harden pitching in 10.

Aaron Shack and Gavin Johnson each collected 14 points to pace the winners.

The Eagles continued play in the Thanksgiving Classic on Saturday.
