Letter to the Editor

Rescue Mission makes woman happy

Thursday, February 2, 2017

To the Editor:

My Mother, Ms. Hattie O'Neal, wanted to publicly recognize and thank the staff and members of the Rescue Mission in Shelbyville, TN. She asked me to draft the attached message to be printed in the editorial section of the Times-Gazette. She is 85 years old and has lived in the community since the early eighties and she is a native of Marshall County, Lewisburg, TN. While she suffers greatly with the symptoms associated with COPD, she has a heart of gold and enjoys much laughter and with family and visitors, as she still has a very sharp mind.

It would mean a lot to her to see her letter of appreciation to the staff and volunteers of the Rescue Mission printed in your next edition of the Times-Gazette.

If you have any questions or concerns related to this request, please don't hesitate to contact me by phone or email.
