6th edition of Salute around the corner
The Times-Gazette is gearing up for its sixth edition of Salute magazine, which will publish next month.
Salute is printed on behalf of the Shelbyville-Bedford County Chamber of Commerce, which uses the magazine as its lead promotional tool.
"Salute is our way of capturing a quick glance at our county for any prospective industries, businesses or residents," said Sadie Fowler, editor. "We consider it to be an beautiful and resourceful 'answer magazine' to anything 'Why Bedford?' It's also a publication that serves as a great coffee table keepsake for the entire year."
Salute will be displayed at local businesses, including the Chamber office, all year long and will also be available for free online at the T-G and Chamber websites.
More than 4,500 copies of the magazine are distributed each year at more than 150 locations.
Content for the magazine, determined by both T-G editors and the Chamber, highlights various interesting and resourceful features geared toward educating outsiders (as well as insiders) about all Bedford County has to offer. Education, local government, industrial and business opportunities, as well as things to do, are all topics included in Salute.
Chamber CEO Allen Pitner encourages local businesses and manufacturing companies to secure their advertising space in this year's Salute to promote their firms and support the growth of Bedford County.
