The sixth edition of Salute magazine is being released this week. Look for copies at approximately 50 area businesses, including at the Shelbyville-Bedford County Chamber of Commerce and the Times-Gazette.

The T-G publishes the magazine for the chamber, which uses it as its primary promotional tool to attract businesses and industry to the community.

The free, full-color magazine contains helpful information about Bedford County plus features on the people, businesses, schools and places which make it a great place to live and work.

Many aspects

“Once again, we are very pleased with this year’s edition of the annual Salute magazine,” Chamber CEO Allen Pitner said. “As always, it gives a great view of Shelbyville and Bedford County from several different perspectives whether it be human interest stories, a spotlight on a local business or organization or a story about one of our local tourism assets.

“It is very important when recruiting new businesses to our area that we are able to show that we have a great quality of life with lots of things to do, and the Salute certainly conveys this,” Pitner said. “We use it in packets that we send to business prospects and people who are looking to relocate here or visit.

“The Times-Gazette does a great job with the Salute each year, and this year is no exception. We are proud of the work they do on this and look forward to partnering on this in the future.”
