Time for the $1,000 Grocery Giveaway
Whoever coined the phrase "there's no free lunch" was wrong. You could win $100 worth of free lunches or anything else that Kroger carries (including gasoline) if you'll invest $1 to buy the Sunday, July 23 Times-Gazette and spend a little time scouring the special Big $1,000 Grocery Giveaway advertising section.
Kroger teams up every year with the Times-Gazette to sponsor the Big $1,000 Grocery Giveaway. Ten people will win $100 each.
Count the logos
All that's required is that you look through the special section and count the Kroger logos hidden in many of the ads and write the number on the entry form which is also in the special supplement. Entries must be in by Wednesday, Aug. 2 at 3 p.m. You can mail your entry to Big $1,000 Grocery Giveaway, Shelbyville Times-Gazette, PO Box 380, Shelbyville 37162; or you can drop them off at Kroger, 1010 N. Main Street in Shelbyville or at the Times-Gazette office at 323 East Depot Street.
Winners will be selected in a random drawing of all correct entries and announced in the paper on Sunday, Aug. 6.
