Martin, Harris plan September wedding
Bailie Lane Martin and Andrew Earl Harris, both of Shelbyville, announce their engagement.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Darrin and Denise Martin of Shelbyville. She is the paternal granddaughter of Jackie Martin and the late Daniel Martin and the maternal granddaughter of Jerry and Betty Birdsong, all of Shelbyville.
The bride-elect graduated from Shelbyville Central High School in 2010 and from the University of Memphis in 2014, with a bachelor's degree in Nursing. She works as a registered nurse at TrustPoint Hospital in Murfreesboro.
The groom-elect is the son of Andy and Pam Harris of Shelbyville. He is the paternal grandson of Annie T. Harris and the late Earl Harris and the maternal grandson of the late John L. and Frances Swing, all of Shelbyville.
The groom-elect is a 2006 graduate of SCHS and a 2010 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Animal Science. He earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. He works as a veterinarian at Cascade Veterinary Hospital in Wartrace.
The couple has scheduled a wedding date of Sept. 16 at Bethsalem Community Chapel in Watrace.
