Recently, the Webb School competed in a handful of varsity volleyball matches, with the Lady Feet giving a competitive effort during the stretch.

Most recently, the Lady Feet hosted Zion Christian, and despite three competitive sets, fell 3-0.

Zion jumped ahead with a 25-14 Set 1 win and followed with a 25-18 victory in the second set.

The Lady Eagles finished the sweep by defeating Webb 25-20 in Set 3.

Cailey Patterson led the Lady Feet with four aces, a kill and 10 assists.

Emma Peterson added five kills as well.

Set scores: 25-9, 25-17, 25-18

Webb overcame a slow start on Wednesday, September 6 at Franklin County, but ultimately couldn’t overcome the slow start in a 3-0 defeat.

The Rebelettes coasted off the 25-9 Set 1 win and claimed the ensuing two sets by scores of 25-17 and 25-18.

Cailey Peterson and Emma Peterson combined for seven assists and seven kills.

Set scores: 26-28, 25-22, 26-24, 24-26, 15-12

In a marathon match at neighboring Shelbyville Central, the Webb School pushed the Eaglettes to a fifth-set tiebeaker, but ultimately came up short in a 3-2 defeat.

Webb took the first set, slipping past Shelbyville 28-26, but saw the Eaglettes claim two-straight by scores of 25-22 and 26-24 to take a 2-1 lead in the match.

Webb answered and took the fourth set with a 26-24 win, but fell short in the tiebreaker set, 15-12.

Sofia Kovacevic led the Lady Feet with 12 points off serve, with four aces and seven kills.

Emma Peterson added seven kills as well, while Taylor Peterson chipped in 13 points off serve.
