Fashion show right in style
The Beta Iota Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha held their annual dinner and fashion show at First United Methodist Church on Oct. 3.
More than 200 tickets were sold.
"Remember, ladies, that no matter what season we are in, we have to love ourselves and enjoy our own style," said Carolyn Matusek, owner of Carolyn's boutique and moderator of the show. "Savor every season of your life and spend time with the ones you love and always remember to love yourself."
Epsilon Sigma Alpha is an international leadership and service organization founded in 1929. The Beta Iota Chapter was chartered in 1957 and is one of over 1,000 chapters with members in 42 states and Australia. ESA raises more than $10 million each year for charitable causes such as St. Jude's research. ESA says it "brings good people together to do good things while pursuing excellence and self-fulfillment through service to others."
Three $500 scholarships are provided to students of Bedford County each year by the local chapter.
All of the food was prepared and served by the sorority.
