Carl Quenton Arney
Mr. Carl Quenton Arney, age 70, of Manchester, a Shelbyville native, passed away on Veterans Day, November 11, 2017.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, November 17, 2017, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Ray Armstrong will officiate. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in Willow Mount Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors 4-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Quenton was born July 9, 1947, in Shelbyville, to the late Joseph Eugene and Frances Ruth Lowery Arney. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He worked previously with Heil Quaker and was a golf course groundskeeper.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene McBride Arney, of Manchester; a son, Terry Arney, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; two daughters, Bendi (Jonathan) Schwartz, of New Haven, Indiana, and Amanda Rose (Rich Hague), of Martinsburg, West Virginia; a brother, Luke (Vicky) Arney, of Shelbyville, and a sister, Patricia Blevins, of LaVergne; grandchildren, Zach Schwartz, Ben Schwartz, Josh Schwartz, Maisie Hage, Keelyn Hague, and step granddaughter Ashlee (Jake) Cross, of Estill Springs; great-grandchild, Evan Cross.
