Winning Feet blast into postseason play
The Webb School got just the postseason start they wanted, blasting Knowledge Academy 75-43 on Wednesday night.
Webb got off to a red-hot start with a 22-point effort in the opening frame, led by sophomore Keon Johnsonís nine points in the frame.
The Feet also connected on three treys in the quarter, with Henry Moore drilling two.
Webb continued the offensvie barrage into the second quarter and carried a 40-17 lead into halftime.
Knowledge Academy had a better production in the third quarter, but Webb still managed to post an 18-16 advantage in the period.
Webb made its living at the free throw line, cashing in on 20 of 28 tries in the win.
Johnsonís 26 points led three players for Webb in double figures.
Jordan Jenkins finished with 16, while Wesley Hennis added 10.
Webb moves on in the postseason on Friday night, facing BGA at MTCS in Murfreesboro at 8:30 p.m.
