Lovvorn, Joyce are wed
Rebekah Hope Lovvorn and Hunter Thomas Joyce were married July 7 in an evening ceremony at Fair Haven Baptist Church. The Rev. Tod Tanner performed the double-ring ceremony before a large party of guests.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Andrea Lovvorn and the granddaughter of Mary Lovvorn Hix of Shelbyville and the late Lester Lovvorn, Reagor Hix, Milton and Bobbie Statum. She was escorted by her father.
The bride wore a full-length ivory dress of fitted material with buttons down the back. The veil was lined with pears. The bridal bouquet was pink and white with succulent accents.
The bride was attended by her sister, Hannah Fanning, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brooke Todd of Murfreesboro, Luci Ray of Shelbyville, Shelby Johnson of Shelbyville and Laura Beth Stacy of Shelbyville, all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Olivia Blackburn of Shelbyville, daughter of Jason and Shellie Blackburn.
The groom is the son of Tommy and Kim Joyce of Shelbyville and the grandson of Ronnie and Jeweline Segroves, Roger and Sharon Wood, Billy Joyce and Jewell Fisher.
Best man was Justin Reese of Shelbyville, a friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Heath Fanning of Shelbyville, brother-in-law of the groom; Carson Tapley of Shelbyville, Parker Gunn of Shelbyville and Eric Todd of Murfreesboro, all friends of the groom. The ring-bearer was Madden Taylor of Shelbyville, son of Randy and Shannon Taylor.
Ushers were Sanders Lovvorn of Shelbyville and Sawyer Lovvorn of Shelbyville, both cousins of the bride; Jordan Naron of Shelbyville and Kendal King of Shelbyville.
A rehearsal party was held at Fair Haven Baptist Church, hosted by Tommy and Kim Joyce. The reception was hld at Fair Haven Baptist Church, hosted by Mike Lovvorn. Several pre-nuptial parties were hosted by friends, family and the church.
The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and will make their home in Shelbyville.
