Letter to the Editor

Stop printing trash

Tuesday, August 7, 2018

To the Editor:

Would you explain to me and your readers why the Times-Gazette would print such trash from Steve Chapman (AP) and Gene Lyons (AP)? ( I am referring to Tuesday, 7/31/18 edition.)

I expect FACTS not one sided opinions from two obviously leftwing liberals. They are trashing the office of the President of the United States! We have to ask ourselves WHY they are bashing the President? Gene Lyons even uses "what if"/ since when is hypotheticals news? Steve Chapman's opinion is that our president is deluding himself on North Korea and Iran. At least the president was willing to talk to these foreign nations. Maybe it is time your reporters research an article before printing it. I expect better from you. The cartoons for this addition are aberrant, too.

In all fairness, the POTUS should be given credit for the good things he has done for Americans since taking office. There is a list of 2 pages(8xl0) that I shared with you a couple months ago.

All this hate has got to stop. Hatred is tearing this country apart. The mainstream media has done its job on spreading hate. It is time to move forward with good comments; and stop dwelling on the bad. Time Gazette does not have to join in spreading hate by printing "stories" from the Associated Press.

Stella Adcock,

Wartrace
