Letter to the Editor

Look at politics from both sides now

Thursday, August 9, 2018

To the Editor:

Stella Adcock would have the Times Gazette write nothing but praise for Donald Trump. Every time she sends you a letter there is the suggestion that no one should disagree with her on Trump or his actions.

The Times Gazette prints articles from both sides. It sickens me to read the trash that is written by Phil Valentine, but he does have his opinion. Valentine tells almost as many lies as does Trump. We all have opinions, and Trump is not the almighty dictator, yet. He would be the dictator if we did not have the press and many others who won't put up with his ideas.

Ms. Adcock may not know or accept the facts, but Trump is a liar (4,200 and counting), a racist, and an egomaniac. I used to vote Republican but Trump turned me into a Democrat. The Republicans are now the Trump party.

Ms. Adcock, please understand that you and Trump don't tell everyone else how to think. That happens in Russia, but I'm fairly certain Trump has plenty of Russian help on his side.

Charles Reed,
