Support the president
To the Editor
Thank you for printing the letter from Stella Adcock of Wartrace on August 7. The best reading on that page. She certainly hit the nail on the head, so to speak.
I usually enjoy your paper, as long as I don’t read the Associated Press columns of the quirky pictures on that page. Perhaps the AP has never heard the phrase “A country divided cannot stand.”
It seems to me our president has done enough good to fill their columns. At least he’s trying.
We, as Americans, should be thankful for what we have. I could fill the page with those. Let us be proud to be Americans. So far, we’re free because our men and women have fought bravely for us. Some have given their lives to keep us free.
Let’s stand behind our president; hold him up in prayer, fight with him, not against him, and support him.
The next president or ruler we have may very well require a tattoo on your forehead or hand. You’ll find that in Revelations, Chapter 13, verses 16-18.
Then again, right or wrong we all have an opinion.
—Editor’s note: The opinion columns we print are not produced by writers with the Associated Press.
