Celebration gives tickets to students

Tuesday, August 21, 2018

The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration recently donated over 9,000 tickets to students in Bedford County schools. Each student was given a free ticket to attend the 80th annual Celebration.

Each school was issued tickets for a particular night that affords that student free admission to the horse show. Many of these schools participated in the Equine Education Day, held in March, where children in Bedford County and surrounding counties attended an educational day about the Tennessee Walking Horse in Calsonic Arena. Many children had their first experience riding a horse at this event.
