Letter to the Editor

Trump insults our intelligence

Tuesday, August 21, 2018

To the editor:

I read the columnists’ views – some I agree with, some I do not. Most important, I never read with blinders. They offer much to think about.

When it comes to the President, what troubles me most is that he twists the truth/facts believing it is acceptable. It is an insult to each one of us. We are not stupid, yet he treats us and speaks as if we are. The President insults our intelligence. We must not allow ourselves to be treated and thought of as ignorant. We should value our integrity.

Joan Livieri,
