Webb announces local honor roll students

The Webb School recently announced its A and B honor rolls for the first quarter of the 2018-2019 school year.

An independent college preparatory day/boarding school for grades 6-12, The Webb School is the oldest continuously operating school of its kind in the South. The school has a dual emphasis on academic excellence and character development.

The following Bedford County residents earned A Honor Roll status:

Bell Buckle -- Laurel Cox, Ava Foulk, Carley Byford, Jesse Joslin, Maddox Sutton, Zoe Nicholson, Jiahua Wang; and

Shelbyville -- Abigail Voorhes-Fontenot, Kennedy Clarkson, Macy Simon, Willa Kate Shofner, Elle Thompson, Caroline Whitaker, Allison Avent, Collin King.

The following Bedford County residents earned B Honor Roll status:

Bell Buckle -- Eva Pagello, Hannah Joslin, Aran McRady, Helen Allison, Mollie Creech, Anna Catherine Pugh, Laura Kate Yancey;

Normandy -- Hayden Jones, Katherine Gallagher;

Shelbyville -- Andrew Reeves, Jackson Howard, Malinda Wilhelm, Alexander Morton, Gracelynn Hensley, Kamiah Canady, Katherine Kilgore, Kenley Johnson, Kylie Parsons, Noah Brown, Rett Davis, Irelyn Weaver, Brooklyn Wheelon, Conner Brown, Lilly King, Simon Sengchanh, Bryant Morton, Claire Parsons, Keon Johnson, Lennon Ilarde; and
