Letter to the Editor

Speed isn’t everything

Friday, July 5, 2019

To the Editor:

I read with interest the letter from the lady about our speed limits. Thinking about her comments about speed:

My street is a cut off Cannon Boulevard to miss the red light at 64 West. The speed people drive on Riverview Drive and Carlisle is like the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. No children have been hit or killed yet. Animals are another thing.

Please leave five minutes sooner, as not to have to rush to get somewhere on time. Nothing is worth running over a child.
